Version 0.7
I suppose I should have been filling these things out as I go, but I guess I can just give an update as to what's been happening with this game now and I'll try to be more regular when it comes to filling these out in the future.
Mostly what I've been doing for the last month or so is correcting my old and terrible code. I hate past me so much. In this update, I finally got rid of all the random update methods and timers controlling things and switched entirely to an event based system. This has fixed SOOOOO many bugs. Including the bug where the menu items wouldn't appear when you returned from playing a level. I also added the ability to restart a level that you've lost, or move to the next level directly from the level you're in, without having to return to the menu, and added tweens to control scaling functionality instead of the update method, so now things are bouncier, as they should be!
The warp world (world 4) still doesn't work, as my daughter is working on implementing the warp jellies and she has been busy. So proud of her coding and level design. Take some time and squish the logo on the main screen! It's fun!
